Drawings from Music Hall
When I was a young artist, I loved some things I couldn’t afford, like going to the theater, nightly. Well as only an adorable 22 year old can do, I asked the manager
if he liked art so much why wasn’t I there drawing pictures. He thought that was a great idea and so did I. Grant was tall with flaming red hair. He always introduced me with his arm around my waist as “their little artist.” Rob was the assistant manager and he would stand on my other side. He was very short with Italian jet black hair.
It was a very special time in my life. When my Father died my sister in law found 106 paintings like these.I would draw during the performance and paint them the next day to give to a star in the show or trade with the bartender for a few drinks.

Looking back I was a good artist then, too.
